The TTA Hall of Fame recognises outstanding contributions made to table tennis in the fields of playing, coaching, officiating and/or administering the sport. A person may only be inducted into the TTA Hall of Fame by meeting the criteria listed in the TTA Hall of Fame Regulations. Bob’s nomination was unanimously endorsed by the TTA Hall of Fame Selection Panel and the TTA Board.
Bob is one of the best Australian players of all time and has been an outstanding contributor to table tennis in Australia. TTA congratulates Bob on being inducted into the TTA Hall of Fame (Athlete - Open) and for being a most worthy inductee.
Thank you also to former TTA National Coach and fellow TTA Hall of Fame Member, Eric Coster, for paying tribute to Bob in the induction ceremony.
