National High Performance Program - Para
About the Program
The National Para High Performance Program assists Australian Para Table Tennis Athletes to prepare for the Paralympic Games by providing funding and other support for coaching, training, equipment, travel & competition in the period leading up to the Games.
The National Para High Performance Program is focused on the top level Para Table Tennis athletes who have the potential to compete successfully at the Paralympic Games. The National Para High Performance Program must satisfy a range of criteria relevant to sustainable, professional high performance sporting success to be granted funding from the AIS.

“TO ACHIEVE WORLD BEST PERFORMANCES THROUGH EXCELLENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT & SUPPORT OF OUR PATHWAY, ATHLETES & PEOPLE”.
Interesting Facts
Para table tennis was first included in the Paralympic Games in Rome 1960 and has been included in every Paralympic Games since. Since 1960 Australia has won 6 Gold, 7 Silver and 6 Bronze medals at the Paralympic Games. The latest was 2 Gold and 3 Bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
