TTA are proud to provide and announce the all new National Identification Program, managed by TTA National Performance Pathways Team and Coaches including John Murphy, Eva Jeler, Simon Gerada, Hongbo Liang and Franck Roguiez. The program is aimed at identifying athletes with potential to progress through the Table Tennis Australia Pathway from the identification period to National Squad or Podium Potential at the Highest Level.
The National Identification program aims to
- review every individual athlete’s progression against the TTA HP Podium Profile
- create individual athlete and S&T program plans
- provide opportunity for all athletes to become categorised in the Table Tennis Australia squad matrix
Given the critical importance of the core skills required for performance, this program will provide the required skills that are coached to athletes across the pathway. Expert coaches will lead the process through their experiences in the sport.
Skill acquisition specialist will provide an expert viewpoint about skill learning and teaching methods in group format to later provide individually along the pathway.
The cost to attend the National Identification Program is a fee of $435 per player EARLY BIRD, closing 10 December 2021or $485 standard fee closing 30 December. Included in the camp are:
- 5-day training camp with National Team coaches.
- 12 training sessions total, including testing, planning and monitoiring program.
- Individual athlete review and progression model against the TTA HP Podium Profile
- create individual athlete program plan
