2023 National Hopes Qualification – WA

NOTE: Players must participate in a National Hopes Qualification event to be eligible to participate in the 2023 National Hopes Week & Challenge (Tasmania and Northern Territory players exempt due to no National Hopes Qualification events being held there).

Eligibility:

• All players must be born in 2011 or later.
• NOTE: Interstate players may also register.
• NOTE: Players must participate for the full five days. Partial participation is not allowed.

Dates and location:

• Tuesday 3 – Saturday 7 January
• TTWA, 12 Gerard Street, East Victoria Park, WA, 6101

Key Dates:

• Sunday 4 December: Final date for Early Bird registration price.
• NOTE: registration fee must be paid online at the time of registration.
• NOTE: Any cancellations on Friday 23 December or earlier will be entitled to a refund for registration fees. Any cancellations on Saturday 24 December or later will not be entitled to a refund for registration fees.

• John Murphy – TTA National Head Coach (Able-Bodied)
• Ajay Suwal – TTWA Head Coach
• NOTE: Other WA coaches may be invited to assist

Timetable:

• Tuesday 3 January: Hopes Training Camp 10.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.00pm
• Wednesday 4 January: Hopes Training Camp 10.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.00pm
• Thursday 5 January: Hopes Training Camp 10.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.00pm
• Friday 6 January: Hopes Training Camp 10.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.00pm
• Saturday 7 January: SA State Hopes Competition 10.00am to 4.00pm

Registration Fee:

• Early Bird Registration Fee is $440 per player (Early Bird pricing closes Sunday 4 December)
• Standard Registration Fee is $490 per player
• Registration fee includes:

1. 20 hour training camp
2. 1 day competition
3. Coaching from a TTA National Coach
4. Guaranteed qualification for the 2023 National Hopes Week & Challenge

COVID-19:

• TTA will not be liable for any additional expenditure incurred by individual players due to COVID-19. Any additional expenditure incurred as a result of COVID-19, e.g. quarantine requirements, flight changes, flight cancellation fees, accommodation cancellation fees etc., is the responsibility of the individual player.
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirements are in place for this event.

Accommodation, Transportation and Food:

• Accommodation, transportation and food is the responsibility of the individual player.

Clothing:

• Club and/or State uniforms are encouraged, but not mandatory.
