The TTA National Hopes Tour is a series of electrifying events across Australia where young athletes push their limits, sharpen their skills, and earn points toward selection for the Australian Hopes Team.

It’s more than a competition — it’s a launchpad for Australia’s future stars.

Each Tour follows the same 5 day format (days of the week subject to change, please refer to the specific camp for specific days):

* Hopes Challenge and Mini Hopes Challenge, with matches being livestreamed through the TTA Facebook page for the National Hope Week

NOTE: All players must attend the full 5 days. Partial participation is not permitted.

TRAINING CAMP COMPONENT – NTTA Hopes Tour: Open to players born in 2014 or later. Pathways Open to players born in 2013 or earlier

COMPETITION COMPONENT – National Hopes Tour Challenge: Only open to players born in 2014 and 2015. This is an ITTF Regulation. National Mini Hopes Tou Challenge: Only open to players born in 2016 or later.

2025/26 National Hopes Tour is $550 (inc GST) per player per Tour

Associated Pathways Camps are $500 (inc GST) per player per Camp

Included in the fee:

  1. 4-day training camp with TTA National Coaches, including 8 training sessions and educational activities.
  2. 1-day competition, competing for National Titles.
  3. Guest appearances from National Team players. 
  4. The opportunity to interact with the best Hopes level players and coaches in Australia.

Any cancellations on the close of entries or earlier will be entitled to a refund for entry fees.

Any cancellations after the close of entries will not be entitled to a refund for entry fees.

Food is the responsibility of the individual player. Supermarkets and restaurants are available near all the venues.

Flights are the responsibility of the individual player.

Accommodation is the responsibility of the individual player.

There are multiple hotels and accommodation options available near all the venues.

Transportation is the responsibility of the individual player

TTA will not be liable for any additional expenditure incurred by individual players due to COVID-19. Any additional expenditure incurred as a result of COVID-19, e.g. quarantine requirements, flight changes, flight cancellation fees, accommodation cancellation fees etc., is the responsibility of the individual player.

NOTE: No COVID-19 vaccination requirements are in place for this event.

The Event will be conducted in accordance with the current Laws of Table Tennis and ITTF Rules and Regulations.

Players must wear clothing that complies with ITTF Regulations.

State/Territory Team uniforms are encouraged, but not mandatory.

All rackets need to be compliant with the latest ITTF regulations.

Participants release all rights, or rights held by their agents or sponsors, in all matters relating to television and web casting coverage, video and motion picture coverage, and photographic coverage of any kind to TTA.

In the context of betting, participants shall not, by any manner whatsoever infringe the principle of fair play, show unsporting conduct or attempt to influence the course or result of a competition or any part thereof in a manner contrary to sporting ethics. Any violation of this principle shall be disciplined according to provisions of ITTF Regulations 3.5.3.

All members, participants and non-participants are required to read and understand and agree to abide by the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy, effective from 1 March 2024, and found on the Sport Integrity Australia website (https://www.sportintegrity.gov.au/what-we-do/anti-doping/world-anti-dopingcode/australian-nationalanti-doping-policy), being the anti-doping policy adopted by TTA and applicable to all members, participants and non-participants.
