Table Tennis Australia is hosting a free Coach Webinar session, in collaboration with Special Olympics Australia, for all TTA accredited coaches. 

As the key presenter of the session, Special Olympics Australia will focus on providing our coaches with the support and resources to deliver the Sporting Schools program in special education environments. The idea is to allow coaches to strengthen their skill set and deepen their understanding about the sporting experience of students with Intellectual disabilities and autism. 

The session is the first of a series of webinars hosted by Special Olympics Australia to purposefully train coaches and help them adapt Table Tennis activities to cater to students with special needs. 

The session will be delivered online through Microsoft Teams and cover the following broad topics-

• Intrduction to Special Olympics Australia
• Understanding Intellectual Disability and Autism
• Tips and Strategies to help deliver Inclusive sessions
• Coach resources available and how to effectively use these
• Q & A - An opportunity for you to ask questions. 

This is a TTA recognised education webinar and will account for 5 education points towards the re-accreditation of all coaches who are able to attend. Although, we will be recording the session and providing everyone with the link to view if you can't make it.
