2019 National Senior & Youth Championships – Finalists Decided, Women’s Singles and Men’s Singles

Min Hyung Jee and Jian Fang Lay underlined their seedings to book their place in the Women’s Singles final. Jee outplayed Qian Yang 4-1 while Lay ended Michelle Bromley’s outstanding run. Jee and Lay will play in the final later this afternoon, while Yang and Bromley will fight it out for bronze.
Meanwhile, in the Men’s Singles semi finals, birthday boy Kane Townsend was in the fast lane against Dillon Chambers, claiming a 4-1 win. In the other semi final Heming Hu and David Powell fought it out over seven tough games, with Hu edging out Powell.
Townsend and Hu will face off in the final this afternoon, and Chambers and Powell will be aiming to take home a bronze.
