2021 Membership Census Released
Published Mon 24 Jan 2022
Table Tennis Australia's (TTA) is pleased to release the 2021 National Participation Census.
The data collected shows that membership numbers are back to pre-COVID-19 levels and participation is fast approaching pre-COVID-19 levels.
Check out the data collected below:

All States/Territories enjoyed an increase in membership with TTSA and TTWA leading the charge with the biggest percentage increase (161% and 70% respectively) compared to 2020.
Seven States/Territories recorded a huge increase in participation especially TTSA, TTT and TTV, where participation figures more than doubled compared to 2020.
Obviously COVID-19 significantly hampered membership and participation in 2020, meaning the 2021 improvements are a return to the pre-COVID-19 normal. However, the strong rebound is both pleasing and promising.
Thank you to all State/Territory Associations and clubs/associations for contributing to the 2021 participation census process.
