Table Tennis Australia inviting applications for Appointed Non-Executive Board Director

Table Tennis Australia are excited to announce that we are inviting applications for an individual to join us as an Appointed Non-Executive Board Director.

This is a voluntary (unpaid) position and represents a unique opportunity to contribute your professional skills to an Olympic sport with community impact.

We are seeking a Director with proven expertise in one of the following areas: 
•    Digital transformation – experience in digital transformation and applying technology at scale for the benefit of customers and for business efficiency.
•    Commercial partnerships – experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and business opportunities.
•    Stakeholder and/or Government engagement – building relationships with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and community partners to advance organizational priorities, influence policy outcomes, and strengthen strategic collaboration.

AICD qualifications or equivalent governance experience will be highly regarded. 

The Role 

As a Non-Executive Director, you will: 
•    Contribute to the strategic direction and governance of Table Tennis Australia.
•    Provide oversight of risk, performance, and compliance to ensure long-term sustainability.
•    Offer specialist insights that strengthen decision-making at a Board and committee level.
•    Champion Table Tennis Australia’s vision and values within your networks and the wider community.

There are 8 board meetings per annum, which are held online, plus an AGM where in person attendance is preferred. Directors are also expected to contribute to Board Committees.
