Table Tennis Australia are delighted to announce that Ariel Li and Alyssa Yeung have been added to the U15 National Squad, following an excellent start to 2026 for both athletes.
The National Selection Panel unanimously agreed to add both to the squad, with Li and Yeung joining Kavyaa Madaan, Yannis Li, Aradhya Dhingra, Coral Zhao and Lin Zhu.
In the opening months of 2026, both Li and Yeung have impressed in TTA Tours. Yeung won gold in the U13 and bronze in the U15 categories at TTA Tour Victoria, whilst also picking up silver and bronze at TTA Tour New South Wales, in the U13 and U15 events respectively. Li won gold in Goulburn in both the U13 and U15 format, and she also picked up three medals at TTA Tour Victoria, with gold in the U15, silver in the U13 and U17 competitions.
Rob Gomm, Head of TTA’s Olympic Program, says: "We’re really pleased to recognise the strong performances that have earned these selections. These selections reflect the hard work and commitment that Ariel and Alyssa have shown, and we’re excited to welcome them into the U15 girls squad. We wish them every success as they take this next step in their development.”
TTA wishes to congratulate both on their selection into the National Squad, and wishes them the very best of luck for the remainder of 2026 and beyond.
