AUS PARA TEAM CELEBRATES SUCCESS AT OCEANIA PARA CHAMPS

The AUS Para Team have just finished competing at the 2023 Oceania Para Championships in Honiara, Solomon Islands and are celebrating their best ever results at this Paralympic Games regional qualification event. The AUS Para athletes won 9 out of the 10 Gold medals on offer in the official events they had entered into. In total the AUS Para Team won 9 x Gold, 6 x Silver and 6 x Bronze medals, with every one of the 14 athletes winning at least one medal.

Here is the list of the Gold medal winners and their events:

GOLD – Qian Yang (VIC) > Class 7 – 10 Womens Singles

GOLD – Lin Ma (VIC) > Class 9-10 Mens Singles

GOLD – Nathan Pellissier (VIC) > Class 8 Mens Singles

GOLD – Danni Di Toro (VIC) > Class 2-5 Womens Singles

GOLD – Chris Addis (VIC) > Class 4 Mens Singles

GOLD – Jessy Chen (NSW) > Class 3 Mens Singles

GOLD - Lin Ma (VIC) / Nathan Pellissier (VIC) > Mens Doubles Class MD14-18

GOLD - Nathan Pellissier (VIC) / Lina Lei (VIC) > Mixed Doubles Class 17-20

GOLD - Danni Di Toro (VIC) / Jessy Chen (NSW) > Mixed Doubles Class XD7-10
