Aussies Bound for Italy
Published Mon 20 Nov 2017
The Australian Junior Boy’s and Junior Girl’s Teams are on their way to Riva Del Garda in Italy to compete in the 2017 World Junior Championships from 26 November to 3 December 2017. Only 20 Boy’s and 20 Girl’s Teams qualify to compete this prestigious event, no doubt our young charges will fly the Aussie flag with pride throughout. The Junior Boy’s Team will be represented by Rohan Dhooria (Captain), Mateo Dvorani, Benjamin Gould and Bob Liang with Tatsuya Hidaka as Coach. Meanwhile the Junior Girl’s Team is comprised of Holly Nicolas (Captain), Matilda Alexandersson, Parleen Kaur and Michelle Wu with Jenny Langridge as Coach.
Congratulations also to Australia’s very own Dave Delpratt who will be a Deputy Referee at the competition, further underlining his prowess as one of the leading Officials in the world.
Best of luck to all concerned.
