Australia-China Community Connect Officer

TTA is seeking the services of a highly skilled and passionate team player for the position of Australia – China Community Connect Officer. The role will play a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between TTA and the Chinese Table Tennis Association, and the high population of table tennis players in Australia from a Chinese background.
TTA has recently secured funding from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to deliver on their aim of strengthening engagement between Australia and China. Over the duration of this fixed-term contract, the Australia – China Community Connect Officer will oversee this project to ensure TTA meets the criteria to be able to deliver on the objectives of the TTA Community Connect grant program. The role will also work collaboratively with DFAT, State and Territory Associations, local clubs/associations in every State/Territory and other key stakeholders.
This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to work in a National Sporting Organisation and gain exposure to an area of the business with high growth opportunities. This role provides a chance to make a tangible difference to the lives of people and utilise table tennis as a vehicle to generate positive social impacts.
