Australia's 2023 ITTF World Championships Bid Takes Another Step Forward
Published Mon 09 Dec 2019
Australia's bid to bring the 2023 ITTF World Championships 'down under' has taken another step forward, with Melbourne being selected as the prospective host city.
Australia, Germany and South Africa are the final bidders, with a vote at the ITTF AGM in March 2020 to decide the winner.
While there is additional work required to give Australia the best chance of success, we are confident we can put forward a compelling case to bring the event to Melbourne, and to Australia for the first time ever.
