Care 24-7 to support Australia's High-Performance Table Tennis Athletes

Table Tennis Australia (TTA) is pleased to welcome the support of Care 24-7 for the organisation's Olympic Program, with the contribution helping Australia's elite athletes on their journey towards international success.

Founded a decade ago, Care 24-7 provides high-quality emergency healthcare services in partnership with private hospitals across Australia. Since its inception, the organisation has cared for more than 500,000 patients, delivering timely access to experienced emergency physicians and helping reduce waiting times for those needing emergency care.

For Care 24-7 founder and Managing Director Dr Sharad Pandit and his partner Sarah Sandley, supporting Australia's high-performance table tennis athletes is deeply personal. Both have longstanding connections to the sport and are passionate about giving back to a community that has played a significant role throughout their lives.

Dr. Pandit, a decorated Australian veteran player, has claimed more than 20 National Veterans Championship titles. He also continues to contribute to the sport as an International Classifier and sits on the committee of his local HEATT table tennis club in Adelaide.

Sandley has represented both England and New Zealand internationally, holds multiple Australian Veterans titles and remains actively involved in the sport through her leadership roles as founder of Spin Sisters (HEATT), as a Director of Table Tennis Australia, Deputy President of ITTF-Oceania, alongside her service on the ITTF’s Nominations Committee.

Their support will assist Table Tennis Australia's High-Performance Olympic Program, helping provide Australia's leading athletes with the resources and opportunities needed to continue their development and compete on the international stage.
