Expressions of Interest - 2019 ITTF World Junior Circuit Australian Open
Published Mon 18 Feb 2019
Calling all Juniors - if you want to compete at an international event in your own country, submit an Expression of Interest for the 2019 ITTF World Junior Circuit Australian Open, to be held in Darwin from 28 April to 1 May.
As the host country, Australia may be able to enter additional players into the following individual events:
- Junior Boys Singles
- Junior Girls Singles
- Cadet Boys Singles
- Cadet Girls Singles
TTA is now calling for expressions of interest from athletes to compete at the event on a self-funded basis, i.e. TTA will not cover any entry fees, accommodation, flights, food or discretionary expenditure for selected athletes.
Important notes:
- Athletes already selected for the event as part of the National Team are not required to submit an application.
- All expressions of interest will be considered by the National Selection Panel according to the relevant National Selection Policy criteria.
- The number of positions available is dependent on the total number of entries received from all countries. TTA will enter as many athletes as possible.
- Selected athletes must organise and pay for their own flights, accommodation and any other requirements.
- Selected athletes are not permitted to wear the TTA National Team Uniform while competing at the event.
- Click the following links to view the Event Prospectus and the Event Website.
If you would like to be considered for selection, please complete the Application Form and submit to TTA National High Performance Coordinator, Ghalia Nooreddin, at ghalia@tabletennis.org.au by 5.00pm AEDT on Friday 1 March 2019.
