Leeanne Grantham Joins the TTA Board
Published Wed 11 Dec 2019
TTA is pleased to announce that Leeanne Grantham has been appointed to the TTA Board, filling the recently advertised casual vacancy.
Grantham is one of the leading administrators in Australian sport. She is currently the Vice President of Commonwealth Games Australia and is also a Board Member of Disability Sports Australia, Netball South Australia and Cycling Australia. She has previously held Board roles in multiple other sport, not-for-profit and commercial organisations. Across a decorated Executive career, Grantham held several CEO/General Manager roles in prominent organisations, including the Women’s National Basketball League, Events South Australia, The 2002 World Masters Games, Women’s Football (Soccer) Australia and the Adelaide Lightning Women’s Basketball Franchise. Grantham is also a former national team representative in Basketball.
TTA President Jamie Olsen was very pleased with the announcement, commenting “We are thrilled to have Leeanne join the TTA Board. Her experience and network working at the highest levels of Australian sport and business is a tremendous asset to TTA as we push forward with an aggressive growth strategy to make table tennis a top five participation sport over the next few years.”
Grantham’s appointment was made following a rigorous assessment of a record number of high quality applications. The TTA Nominations Committee and TTA Board endorsed Grantham to fill the role and have no doubt the wealth of skills, knowledge and experience she brings will help build on the positive momentum TTA has generated in recent years.
Congratulations Leeanne and welcome to the TTA Board.
