Limited places remain for Rally Her Collective Launch Event
Published Tue 23 Jun 2026
TTA's upcoming launch event for our Rally Her Collective activation, in partnership with Asian Women Development Plan International (AWDPI), is set to take place on Friday, 26 June, with limited places remaining available to join us on the day. REGISTER YOUR INTEREST HERE!
We are thrilled to have partnered with AWDPI to deliver a free, fun and social come-and-try event for women and girls at the Museum of Chinese Australian History in Melbourne, named Rally Her Collective.
AWDPI is a global non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Asian women, promoting gender equality, and eliminating domestic violence and discrimination. Through its official Australian branch, AWDPI Australia, the organisation provides vital, culturally responsive support systems for multicultural communities across the country.
The program will formally launch on Friday, June 26, from 12PM – 3PM at the Museum of Chinese Australian History. The launch event will include low-barrier, social table tennis sessions delivered by high-quality coaches. This session will provide accessible, social table tennis opportunities and AWDPI community workshops.
On the activation, Cindy Jiaze Gui, Managing Director of Asian Women Development Plan International (AWDPI) Australia said: “At AWDPI Australia, our work sits at the intersection of gender equality, cultural inclusion and the rights of Asian women in Australia. We work to address the barriers that can limit women’s safety, participation and access to opportunity, while supporting Asian women to be recognised as active contributors to social change.
We are proud to partner with Table Tennis Australia on this important women-focused initiative that recognises table tennis as more than a physical activity. It can also be a powerful space for inclusion, confidence-building and meaningful community participation.
For many Asian and multicultural women, culturally welcoming spaces can make a real difference in feeling seen, respected and supported. Through this partnership, we hope to create more opportunities for women to connect, participate and lead, contributing to a more inclusive and gender-equal society.”
Saransh Karnawat, Customer Experience and Growth Manager at TTA, added: "Growing participation among women and girls remains a key priority for Table Tennis Australia. By partnering with AWDPI, we're not only creating opportunities to play, but also building stronger pathways for women and girls to connect, belong and remain engaged in sport.”
Entry to the event is completely free, and you can register your interest in the event via this link.
