Members of Australian National Para Team head to Slovenia for back-to-back tournaments
Published Mon 04 May 2026
Members of our Australian National Para Squad have set their sights on Slovenia, as they prepare for back-to-back tournaments in continental Europe.
Firstly, our athletes will compete in the ITTF World Para Challenger Lasko, which is scheduled for 5th - 9th May. The draw, results and live streaming for this event can be found visiting the official event website.
Following the conclusion of the Challenger event, the ITTF World Para Elite Lasko tournament will then follow and will take place from the 11th - 15th May. Draws, results and live streaming can be found here.
The following National Para Squad members will be competing in both events:
Sam von Einem - TT11
Qian Yang - TT10
Lucas Milsom - TT9
Nathan Pellissier - TT8
Jodi Elkington Jones - TT7
Danni Di Toro - TT4
Accompanying our athletes are QLD & VIC State Para Hub Coaches (Mateo Dvorani & Jenny Langridge) and two of our specialists (Nick Ferrier - Team Psychologist and Jacob Mong - Team Physio).
The Slovenian events are traditionally attended by the very best players in the world, indicating another chance for our Australian athletes to test themselves against the best, whilst once again looking to represent the Green and Gold with pride.
Good luck, team!
