National Advisory Panel - Applications Open

TTA is pleased to announce that a new National Advisory Panel will be formed to provide each table tennis community (Veterans, Para, Senior & Youth, Junior) with a direct link to the TTA Board.

The Charter for the National Advisory Panel was endorsed at the December 2018 Board Meeting and can be viewed by clicking here.

The National Advisory Panel will primarily be charged with undertaking the following functions for the Veterans, Para, Senior & Youth and Junior table tennis communities respectively:
- Make recommendations to the TTA Board regarding the interests of promoting and developing table tennis in Australia;
- Make recommendations to the TTA Board in relation to Regulations pertaining to the National Championships;
- Provide assistance and expertise in relation to the National Championships, upon request of the National Championships Organising Committee;
- Where practical, attend the Managers Meeting at the National Championships;
- Provide assistance and expertise in relation to seedings for the National Championships, upon request of the National Selection Panel;
​​​- Manage the process of seeking nominations for selection into National Teams to represent Australia in Veterans competitions and provide all documentation to the National Selection Panel (Veterans only); 
- Manage any administrative and operational requirements for National Teams selected to represent Australia in Veterans competitions (Veterans only); 
- Provide assistance and expertise in relation to selecting National Teams to represent Australia in Veterans competitions, upon request of the National Selection Panel (Veterans only);
- Perform any other duties as requested by the TTA Board or the Chairperson from time to time.
