2020 National Championships Update
Published Thu 30 Apr 2020
Dear stakeholders
As per previous communication, the current status of all 2020 National Championships is as follows:
- National Senior, Youth & Para Championships, were due to be held in Brisbane from 10-18 April. POSTPONED.
- National Junior Championships, were due to be held in Mandurah from 5-11 July. POSTPONED.
- National Veterans Championships are scheduled to be held in Darwin from 26 September to 3 October. No decision has been reached yet on whether the event will be postponed.
At the TTA Board Meeting held this morning, 30 April 2020, it was determined that TTA will aim to provide a final decision on all events by 12 June 2020. This decision will involve determining the dates and the locations (either as planned, or new locations if required). TTA is continuing to work through contingency plans and has a very strong preference to still hold all event in 2020, provided Government regulations do not prevent this.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this difficult period.
