Table Tennis Australia (TTA) has today announced the launch of Table Tennis TV, a new purpose-built digital platform designed to enhance how the table tennis community across Australia experiences, follows and engages with the sport.

Rolling out ahead of the upcoming TTA Invitational (23 – 26 January), the platform will debut by showcasing Australia’s top athletes as they come together to compete, marking the next phase in the evolution of a shared digital home for the sport.

Table Tennis TV is a whole of sport platform and has been created to support and showcase Australia’s entire table tennis ecosystem in Australia It will provide benefits to athletes, fans, coaches, officials, clubs and State & Territory Associations.

“Table Tennis TV represents the next stage in our digital evolution,” said Nicole Adamson, Chief Executive Officer of Table Tennis Australia. “We’ve grown our streaming presence from Facebook, to YouTube, and now into a dedicated platform that allows us to deliver a more consistent and accessible experience. This evolution is about bringing more value to the table tennis community and creating a digital home that better serves the sport.”

Table Tennis TV, developed in conjunction with TTA’s broadcast production partner SportVot, has been designed specifically around how people engage with table tennis, providing a more intuitive and enjoyable viewing experience than traditional social platforms.

The platform consolidates live and on-demand table tennis content into a single destination, giving fans a simpler way to follow competitions and access coverage across national and state-level events.

With dedicated functionality built for the sport, Table Tennis TV allows users to search for individual players, matches and events, watch live streams, and access replays and highlights within a purpose-built viewing environment.

“From a platform perspective, the focus has been on making content easier to discover and more enjoyable to watch,” said Tim Anderson, Managing Director of SportVot Australia. “Table Tennis TV brings together live streaming, on-demand viewing and intuitive search in one place, creating a streamlined experience that will continue to evolve as new features are introduced over time.”

By centralising content that was previously spread across multiple platforms, Table Tennis TV creates a more consistent and connected digital experience for the table tennis community.

“Table Tennis TV has been built to make it easier for our community to find the content that matters to them,” said Wade Edwards, General Manager – Customer and Commercial. “Bringing live streams, replays and highlights into one place creates a more connected experience, with clearer search and navigation helping people follow competitions and revisit key moments.”
