Team Australia confirmed for 2026 ITTF-Oceania Hopes Week

Table Tennis Australia (TTA) is pleased to announce the final standings from the 2025/26 TTA National Hopes Tour, with the players now confirmed to represent Australia at the 2026 ITTF-Oceania Hopes Week in Auckland, New Zealand from 20–25 July 2026.
The final event of the tour in Traralgon delivered outstanding performances from Australia’s next generation of table tennis talent, with players competing for valuable Hopes Tour points and the opportunity to earn selection to the Oceania team.
Following the completion of the national tour, the following athletes have secured selection for the 2026 ITTF-Oceania Hopes Week based on their overall Hopes Tour points standings and Traralgon event victory:

TTA also confirms the appointment of two Development Panel Coaches who will accompany the team to New Zealand, highlighting Hopes’ opportunity in Coach Development also.

This team represents the future of our sport, and Oceania Hopes Week is a key step in their international development journey.
“It’s also fantastic to see our coach development pathway in action, with two Development Panel coaches joining the team, ensuring we’re building strength both on and off the table for the years ahead.”
The ITTF Hopes Program is a globally recognised development pathway designed to identify and nurture talented young players through structured training, education, and international competition opportunities. The 2026 ITTF-Oceania Hopes Week provides athletes with the opportunity to train and compete alongside the region’s best emerging players while receiving guidance from leading coaches and development experts.
The 2025/26 TTA Hopes Tour has showcased the depth of emerging talent across Australia, with strong performances throughout the season highlighting an exciting future for the sport.
The top two boys and top two girls identified at the Oceania event will also qualify for the 2026 ITTF World Hopes week.
Table Tennis Australia congratulates all selected athletes and coaches and wishes the team every success in Auckland.
Hopes Points are awarded to the top-performing athletes across the TTA National Hopes Tour to recognise achievement and track progress. Bonus points were also awarded for attending more than one event across the 2025/26 Hopes Tour.
