TTA Closes Seagulls Venue
Published Mon 20 Nov 2017
TTA confirms the Seagulls venue at Tweed Heads has been closed down. As TTA continues to work through a range of financial, operational and administrative changes, the decision to close the Seagulls venue has been made to ensure our ongoing sustainability.
The Seagulls venue played host to multiple national, continental and world level events in recent years, however a pragmatic business decision has been made to close it as its financial viability could not be guaranteed. Pelican Sport Development Pty. Ltd., the subsidiary company that oversaw the Seagulls venue arrangement, is also in the process of being wound up. Further information will be provided in the coming weeks.
