TTA Hall of Fame Relaunched
Published Mon 05 Aug 2019
TTA is pleased to announce that the TTA Hall of Fame has been relaunched and will now cover multiple areas:
- Athlete (Open)
- Athlete (Para)
- Athlete (Veterans)
- Coach
- Referees and Umpires
- Administrators
- Legend of the TTA Hall of Fame, which is the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a TTA Hall of Fame Member
The purpose of the TTA Hall of Fame is to recognise the outstanding contribution made to table tennis by an individual in the fields of playing, coaching, officiating, and/or administering the sport.
New TTA Hall of Fame Regulations have been approved by the TTA Board and can be viewed by clicking here, or in the attachment below. Additionally, a TTA Hall of Fame Nomination Form has been created and can be viewed by clicking here, or in the attachment below. The Regulations were finalised following a lengthy consultation process with multiple TTA Board Sub-Committees, existing TTA Hall of Fame Members, TTA staff members and within the TTA Board. Thank you to those who contributed.
This is another positive step forward that will enable those who have been longstanding and substantial contributors to our great sport to be recognised.
