TTA Opens EOI for New Development Panel of Coaches
Published Thu 15 Jan 2026
Table Tennis Australia (TTA) is pleased to invite coaches from across the country to express interest in joining the TTA Development Panel of Coaches – a national community of coaches committed to strengthening athlete pathways and supporting the long-term growth of Australian table tennis.
The Development Panel represents a significant step toward a more unified, athlete-centred and coach-supported national system, bringing together coaches who are passionate about learning, collaboration, and shaping the future of Australian table tennis.
By focusing on coach development, peer-to-peer learning, and alignment across the pathway, the panel aims to create lasting impact – recognising that better supported and better developed coaches lead to better athlete outcomes.
TTA CEO, Nicole Adamson, said the initiative reflects TTA’s commitment to growing the game from the ground up.
“We’re seeing strong growth in coaching capability across Australia, and this initiative is about harnessing that momentum. When we invest in coaches - when we coach the coach - their athletes’ benefit. This panel allows us to learn together, share what works, and build a more connected pathway for players nationwide.”
The TTA Development Panel of Coaches will bring together a small group of pathway-focused coaches from across Australia to engage in professional learning, mentoring, and collaboration with the TTA Olympic Program, helping to shape a shared national approach to developing young players.
Coaches interested in being part of this national initiative are encouraged to download the full Expression of Interest document, which outlines eligibility, expectations, and the application process.
Expressions of Interest close Friday 6 February 2026.
