TTA Releases September 2026 National Rankings
Published Mon 05 Oct 2026
The Table Tennis Australia (TTA) National Selection Panel is pleased to announce the release of the National Rankings List for September 2026, highlighting the performances of athletes across all categories.
The updated Open, Youth and Junior National Rankings categories have been now been released.
The latest update of rankings once more recognise the achievements of our athletes, showcasing commitment and progress from emerging players through to our most experienced competitors.
Results from the 2026 TTWA Closed, 2026 TTACT Open, ITTF Oceania Youth Championships, WTT Youth Contender Tunis II 2026, WTT Youth Contender Puerto P 2026, WTT Feeder Puerto Princesa 2026, WTT Youth Contender Bangkok II 2026, WTT Champions Macao 2026, WTT Youth Contender Gangneung 26, WTT Feeder Bangkok 2026 and 2026 TTA Hopes Tour Queensland are among the tournaments which impacted the rankings upon September's conclusion.
Due to the conclusion of the 2026 TTA National Junior Championships in early October, the results from this tournament will be implemented from October's rankings, which will be released in early November.
The top 10 of both the Men's and Women's rankings have remained the same, with Finn Luu and Yangzi Liu remaining on top of the rankings. One of the biggest rises of the month was in the U13 Boys' rankings, where Samuel Shwe moved up three places following his gold medal winning performance in the WTT Youth Contender Tunis II.
Rob Gomm, General Manager of TTA’s Olympic Program, added: "The September National Rankings reflect strong consistency across the top 10s, highlighting the sustained performances of athletes across all age groups.”
TTA congratulates all athletes for their effort, dedication, and outstanding performances. These rankings not only celebrate individual success but also play an important role in selection considerations for future national and international events.
