TTA Vacancy - Play Well Project Coordinator
Published Mon 24 Jun 2024
Having recently secured funding from the Australian Sports Commission to expand its current entry-level program, Spinneroos, into the secondary school space, TTA are seeking the services of a highly skilled project coordinator and passionate team player.
The Play Well Project Coordinator will oversee this project to ensure TTA meets the criteria to be able to deliver its Sporting Schools Spinneroos program in Secondary Schools, and will play a crucial role in creating sustainable table tennis pathways and expanding the participation base. This role provides a chance to make a tangible difference to the lives of people and utilise table tennis as a vehicle to generate positive social impacts.
The fast-paced nature of the role calls for an individual who can work autonomously, has exceptional time management, outstanding communication skills and an outcomes focused mindset.
This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to work in a National Sporting Organisation and gain exposure to an area of the business with high growth opportunities.
The role will also work collaboratively with the Australian Sports Commission, State and Territory Associations, local clubs/associations in every State/Territory and other key stakeholders.
Hours & location:
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week), over a fixed 12-month term. There is also the option to complete the project on a part-time basis over 18 months. Given the nature of this role and the sports industry in general, evenings and weekend work may be required
This role will preferably be based at the TTA National Office in Melbourne. Working from another State or Territory may be considered for the right candidate, and may require occasional interstate travel.
