Vale Ted Davis
Published Wed 07 Sep 2022
Ted Davis, the Table Tennis NSW Vice President, passed away on 6 September 2022, aged 77 years. Ted suffered a heart attack after finishing his competition matches last night in Sydney.
Ted will be remembered as a long-term and dedicated servant to table tennis. Although Ted was a passionate New South Welshman, he could see the bigger picture and worked for the greater good at a national level. Ted helped countless players, coaches, administrators, officials and volunteers throughout his career, and no doubt advanced the game at multiple levels.
Ted played table tennis for more than 60 years and was a stalwart of the NSW team at the National Veterans Championships for multiple decades.
TTA passes on our condolences to Ted’s wife Jan and his children.
Rest in peace Ted – you will be missed, but not forgotten.
