Australia's Yangzi Liu secured the WTT Feeder Senec 2026 title on April 22, defeating Yerin Yoo in the final in a resounding 3-0 victory.

Liu was seeded #1 in the tournament, which was held in Senec, Slovakia from April 18-22. She recieved a bye in the Round of 64, before taking on France's Claire Picard in the Round of 32, who she defeated 3-1 (11-9, 12-10, 12-14, 12-10).

Following her victory over Picard, it was a match up against India's Nithya Mani in the Round of 16, and despite losing the first set, Liu bounced back with style, winning the next three (11-9, 11-9, 12-10), to march on to the quarter-finals.

Liu continued her rich form, in the quarter finals against Monaco's Xiaoxin Yang, taking the first two sets (11-4, 12-10), before the Monégasque player battled her way to the third (9-11), but Liu responded in style with an 11-4 win in the fourth set.

In the semi-finals, Liu faced Yu-Jie Huang, and progressed into the final with a 3-1 victory, in a match which lasted 32 minutes. Liu took the first two sets but was pegged back in the third, before a hard-fought 11-9 win in the fourth secured at least second place at the Transpetrol Sport Hall.

Perhaps Liu's most impressive performance of the tournament came in the final itself, as she faced seed #4 Yerin Yoo. Liu was rarely troubled in the first set (11-5), but a mammoth 18-16 win in the second meant that she had one hand on the title. Yoo struggled to recover from the disappointment of losing the second, and was dispatched 11-7 in the final, ensuring that the title would go to Liu.

Next up for Liu is a trip to London for the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships, alongside Connie Pshiogios, Jiamuwa Wu, Sanaya Buddhadasa, Nicholas Lum, Finn Luu, Hwan Bae and Aditya Sareen.
