Foundation, Talent, Elite, Mastery (FTEM) Framework

Foundations, Talent, Elite & Mastery (FTEM) is a user-friendly framework of sporting development that is representative of the “whole of sport” pathway continuum and integrates common and unique phases of development for participants at the active lifestyle, sport participation and sport excellence phases.

To assist the Para Table Tennis community with understanding the different stages of athlete development, Table Tennis Australia has developed the FTEM Framework for Para Table Tennis which aligns with the Sport Australia FTEM (Foundation, Talent, Elite and Mastery) framework - https://www.ais.gov.au/ftem.

This practical tool aims to assist personnel, coaches, teachers, parents etc. in reviewing, planning and supporting the Para Table Tennis athlete pathway.
