Aussie Para Team Successful in Thailand

Following on from their success at the 2017 Korea Para Open, the Aussie Para Team has once again performed at their best at the 2017 Thailand Para Open and will be coming home with a total of 1 x Gold, 1 x Silver and 4 x Bronze medals.
The Individual results included:
Gold - Sam von Einem in the Class 11 Mens Singles
Bronze - Rebecca Julian in the Class 6/7 Womens Singles
Bronze - Trevor Hirth in the Class 6 Mens Singles
The Team results included:
Silver - Sam von Einem and Rory Carroll in the Class 11 Mens Teams
Bronze - Barak Mizrachi and Nathan Pellissier in the Class 8 Mens Teams
Bronze - Andrea McDonnell and Shiau Wen Tian (TPE) in the Class 9/10 Womens Teams
Congratulations to the entire team on their tremendous results. A big shout out also to our amazing National Para Coaches, Alois Rosario and Aleks Jakubczak, along with our development coach for this event, Paton Wilson, and Helen Smith who has joined our Aussie Para Team as our carer.
The Aussie Para Team is now in Bangkok for the next 2 days attending a National Training Camp with the Thailand National Para Team and visiting local disability organisations all thanks to the support from the Asian Sports Partnership Program.
