Published Wed 05 Nov 2025
Table Tennis Australia (TTA) have officially released the latest National Rankings List for October 2025, with standout performances at recent national events driving major shifts across multiple categories.
The latest rankings reinforce the importance of strong domestic results, as athletes who performed consistently across TTA Tour events, National Championships, and WTT Youth Contender tournaments saw their efforts translate into significant movement up the national ladder.
Open Men’s – Xuqi Lin Closes in on #1 Spot
One of the biggest movers this month is Xuqi Lin, who has surged from #4 to #2 in the Open Men’s rankings after an outstanding domestic season. Xuqi captured two TTA Tour Gold titles, two TTA Tour Silvers, and finished 3rd at the Nationals — leaving him just 70 points shy of the #1 position.
Rising Star from WA: Ting Chia Chang Makes Big Moves

- U15 Boys: #6 ➡️ #2
- U17 Boys: #12 ➡️ #5
- U19 Boys: #16 ➡️ #7
- U21 Bys: #12 ➡️ #4
Young Guns on the Rise
Emerging junior talent Lachlan Bao rose from #7 to #2 in the U13 Boys after capturing the TTA Tour Canberra title and reaching the semifinals at the WTT Youth Contender Perth.
In the girls’ categories, Kavyaa Madaan (U15) and Qinle (Alice) Xia (U13) both consolidated their #1 rankings by claiming victory in their respective age groups at WTT Youth Contender Perth.
U11 Leader Lin Zhu Continues Her Charge
Another standout was Lin Zhu, who recorded an outstanding 15 wins from 17 matches at TTA Tour Canberra, extending her lead in the U11 Girls rankings while also closing the gap in the U13 and U15 divisions.
