TTA Adopts National Integrity Framework
Published Wed 02 Nov 2022
TTA is pleased to announce the adoption of the National Integrity Framework and its associated integrity policies, which came into effect on 31 October 2022. This is an important step as it will assist in protecting our sport and members from integrity threats like harassment, bullying, abuse, illicit drugs and competition manipulation. Moreover, the new policies replace and supersede our previous integrity policies, thereby ensuring that we are operating under a new and up-to-date framework.
By implementing the National Integrity Framework and associated policies, TTA now has six new integrity policies in place:
- National Integrity Framework
- Competition Manipulation and Sports Wagering Policy
- Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy
- Child Safeguarding Policy including the SA Addendum
- Member Protection Policy
- Complaints, Disputes and Discipline Policy
Developing the National Integrity Framework and associated policies commenced in late 2021 and has been a significant undertaking. TTA thanks our Legal Counsel, Ian Fullagar, for his assistance and guidance in the process.
The National Integrity Framework and associated policies can be accessed by clicking the links above. They are also available on the Policies page of the TTA website at: https://www.tabletennis.org.au/about-governance/tta-policies/
