Table Tennis Australia Announces Amendments to National Table Tennis Squads
Published Wed 26 Mar 2025
Table Tennis Australia today announced important amendments to the National Able-Bodied Table Tennis U15, U19 and Senior Squads, in accordance with the National Selection Policy (NSP). Traditionally, selections to the National Squad are finalised no later than December 31st, in the year preceding the year for which the squad is named.
Due to the ongoing High-Performance Review of the Able-Bodied Program, staffing changes and the recent retirement of some athletes, no updates were made to the squad in December 2024.
Following comprehensive consultations and assessments, the revised squads have now been finalised, and TTA are confident they reflect the best available talent to represent the country at the highest level.
The selection of athletes continues to prioritise performance, potential, and overall contribution to the growth of the sport.
Congratulations to all the athletes selected to the National Squads.
Table Tennis Australia thank the table tennis community for their continued support and commitment to the sport during this time of transition.
