The upcoming tournament will be its 22nd iteration of the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships, and the first since 2019, which was held in Cuttack, India.

The tournament will include the following events:

i) Men’s Team
ii) Women’s Team
iii) Men’s Singles
iv) Women’s Singles
v) Men’s Doubles
vi) Women’s Doubles
vii) Mixed Doubles

Team events will be played from 27 to 30 July and Individual events from 30 July to 2 August.

TTA's General Manager of the Olympic Program, Rob Gomm, looks ahead to the Championships by stating: “The Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in 2026 present a valuable opportunity for our athletes to compete against the strongest nations in the Commonwealth. With table tennis not included in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games program, this event takes on added significance in providing international benchmarking and high-quality competition for both our men’s and women’s teams. It’s also an important step as we build momentum toward the sport’s confirmed return to the Commonwealth Games in India in 2030, ensuring our athletes remain competitive and well-prepared on the international stage.”

TTA’s Olympic Program Head Coach Ricardo Oliveira added: “This will be a great experience for our athletes, competing as a team against high-quality opposition from across the Commonwealth. Opportunities like this are crucial for both development and building team cohesion, and we’re excited to test ourselves at this level. We’re not just going there to compete, we’re going there with the ambition to perform strongly and contend for medals.”

TTA wishes all of the athletes the very best of luck in New Delhi!
