This third update for 2026 continues the implementation of the new National Rankings System, ensuring a transparent and consistent approach to ranking Australia’s top table tennis talent.

The Open, Youth and Junior National Rankings categories have been released. It’s fantastic to see so many dedicated players represented across our lists, reflecting the depth and strength of participation within the Australian table tennis community.

The third rankings of 2026 once more recognise the achievements of our athletes, showcasing commitment and progress from emerging players through to our most experienced competitors.

Results from the Singapore Smash, WTT Champions Chongqing, WTT Youth Contenders in Wladyslawowo, Berlin and Harivov and the South Australia Open Championships thave impacted the rankings upon March's conclusion.

Finn Luu continues to sit in the number one spot in the Men's rankings, ahead of Hwan Bae, whilst Nicholas Lum has risen two places to third after his memorable victory over Darko Jorgic in the Round of 32 and the WTT Champions Chongqing. Yangzi Liu retains her number one spot in the Women's rankings, but there is a return to second place in the Women's rankings for Connie Psihogios, who moves up to second place after another month of progress, which included a win over Egypt's Mariam Alhodaby at the 2026 Singapore Smash.

Rob Gomm, General Manager of TTA’s Olympic Program, added: “It’s been an exciting month for our athletes on the international stage, with strong performances across multiple events. From WTT Champions Chongqing to the WTT Singapore Smash, and across the WTT Youth Contender Series events in Władysławowo, Berlin and Havirov, we’ve seen great results and progress. This is reflected in the latest rankings update and highlight the positive momentum building across the Olympic program as we continue to compete and grow on the world stage."

TTA congratulates all athletes for their effort, dedication, and outstanding performances. These rankings not only celebrate individual success but also play an important role in selection considerations for future national and international events.
