COVID-19 and Sporting Schools

In view of the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, Table Tennis Australia (TTA) would like to provide the following information on how teachers can utilise the Sporting Schools grants they have received.

TTA appreciates the crucial role that sport plays in providing mental and physical benefits for children, and for those reasons it is important that we continue to offer options that allow schools to provide sporting opportunities to their students.

TEACHER DELIVERED PROGRAMS

TTA encourages schools to sign up to our teacher-delivered program and we can offer our TOPS e-Coaching Manual to assist in the delivery of your program. This Manual is suitable for all teachers, even for those with little or no knowledge of table tennis, and provides lesson plans, activity cards, skill circuits and competition formats.

The TOPS e-Coaching Manual is ideal to assist with activities that can be delivered at home or within the classroom, for individuals or for groups.

EQUIPMENT

Schools can purchase table tennis equipment through our Sporting Schools team at TTA, and we will arrange for the equipment to be delivered straight to your school.

Table tennis equipment can be used not only during PE lessons, but is also great for students to use during recess and lunch breaks, or before and after school. TTA has a range of equipment options, including indoor and outdoor tables, retractable nets as well as various equipment packages.
