At the TTA Board Meeting held on 25 July 2019, it was determined that the TTA Governance Reform Working Group (GRWG) is to be wound up. Although governance and oversight is and will continue to be a crucial element of TTA’s operations, the GRWG was charged with implementing a scope of works when it was formed in February 2018, which is now complete.
The 2019 ACT Open will be played on 21-22 September 2019 in Canberra. Last year’s event attracted a high calibre field with many of the top Australian ranked players competing. This year is shaping up to be the same, especially considering a prize pool of $10,000 is available.

As per the recent 2019 National Squad (Para) Mid-Year Review, Barak Mizrachi has decided to retire from international competition, bringing to an end a decorated career at national and international level.
