2022 National Events Calendar Locked In

After COVID-19 decimated national events in 2020 and 2021, TTA are looking forward to play resuming in 2022 with a full suite of national events on offer.

Young guns Finn Luu and Nicholas Lum were back in action overnight, competing in the Under 19 Boys Singles event at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender event in Slovak Republic. The duo did not disappoint, with Lum earning a bronze medal and Luu notching a career best victory.

Hungarian Gold for Yangzi Liu

Yangzi Liu capped off a remarkable run of form in Europe by winning gold in the Under 19 Girls Singles at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender event in Hungary overnight. The win is Liu’s third Under 19 Girls Singles gold medal in as many weeks after previously winning in Italy and Slovak Republic.

Nicholas Lum Adds Slovakian Gold to European Medal Haul

Nicholas Lum’s golden run of form continues, with the lethal lefty winning the Under 17 Boys Singles at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender event in Slovak Republic overnight. In a very strong field of 73 players, Lum won eight consecutive matches against players from seven countries to claim the title.
