TTA Calls for Continued Collaboration and Stability at State/Territory Level

With 2020 well underway, we see some States and Territories (S&T's) heading into General Meetings. It is noted in some S&T's, notably Victoria and Western Australia, there have been challenges put forward to existing Boards. Whilst governance matters for each S&T, including the election of Board Members, is a matter for its members, it is important we continue to build on the strong progress that is being achieved across table tennis at a national, state and club level.

Updated National Championships Regulations

The TTA Board approved an updated version of the National Championships Regulations at the Board Meeting held on 23 January 2020. These changes came about after extensive consultation and feedback over a three month period.

Draws Released - 2020 National Hopes Week & Challenge

With 41 players from all 8 States/Territories training strongly over the past four days, we are now ready to go into competition mode with the 2020 National Hopes Challenge being played tomorrow at LOOPS Table Tennis.

Eddie Kocjancic Steps Down from TTA Board

TTA wishes to advise that Eddie Kocjancic has decided to step down from the TTA Board. In recent months, Kocjancic has been based out of Europe with increasing business commitments. Through this combination of events, Kocjancic has determined he is no longer able to provide the time and effort required to serve on the TTA Board.

Eric Coster Inducted into the TTA Hall of Fame (Coaches)

TTA is pleased to announce that Eric Coster has been inducted into the TTA Hall of Fame (Coaches), with the induction ceremony taking place at Stage 2 of the Australian Qualification Tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games today at Croydon.
